QODE is a brand new event for Brisbane, part of the “Curiocity” event running in March and April 2019.
 
Unlike any other innovation and technology event, QODE will be a live and energetic experience focused on delivering inspirational content to the startup and entrepreneurial community.
 
QODE is targeted at entrepreneurial startup and investment communities. With its strong emphasis on inspirational and educational content, QODE will also deliver critical information to company executives and government officials wanting to better understand the future business landscape.

Ignite FNQ with support from Advance Queensland will be taking a delegation of 10 innovators from our region. If you have an innovative product or service and you would like to join us in Brisbane to showcase your innovation send us a Direct Message via facebook or email ric@ignitefnq.org now.
 
Applications to be a part of the FNQ delegation need to achieve a minimum of 3 out of the following 5 criteria:
1. Businesses that are in or entering the scale up phase
a. High Growth Potential – successful Commercialisation of the new product or service likely
to lead to high growth for the business
b. Globally focused – the product/service has global market potential
c. Has a plan in place to help the business stay on track in achieving its goals
2. Technology or innovation focus
a. Validation that the solution is addressing a real market need
b. Identifies as a new to market or new to world product/service
c. Where IP is involved, it must be owned and protected by the applicant business (not a third
party)
3. Track record of sales and growth:
a. Evidence of early sales traction / user growth (global customers preferred)
b. Demonstrate potential via extensive user interviews, surveys, market research
c. Has adequate management and technical team to commercialise and grow successfully
4. Innovation is at or beyond Minimal Viable Product (MVP)
a. Not just a prototype
b. Actual sales (preferred)
c. Can provide MVP url/file/image
5. Investment has been secured
a. Investors have already injected funds into the business
b. Investor, industry partner and/or customer letters of support can be provided
c. A team is in place to take on additional investment and deliver on promises
